Schedule of dental treatments

Here you can find some useful information about the length of dental treatments and how long you should stay in Hungary for a complete treatment. The following examples are only for your information. Therefore, you should always consult your dentist about your dental treatment and discuss everything with him first.

Implantation (2 days/ 1 nights stay):

Monday morning: arrival, consultation, examination, implant placement
Tuesday: checkup, departure

Remark: This is only placing an implant (artificial root). Implant superstructures, crowns or bridges are set after the healing time (three to six months) on the implant.

Setting of crowns, bridges and inlays (8 - 10 days stay):

Sunday evening: arrival, check-in
Monday morning: consultation, examination, preparation of the teeth (chiseling)
Tuesday: leisure activity
Wednesday: trial fitting
Thursday: leisure activity
Friday: fitting of the final dental replacement
Saturday: check-up, departure

Preparation of full prostheses, full dentures (8 - 10 days stay):

Sunday evening: arrival, check-in
Monday morning: consultation, examination, preparation of the teeth
Tuesday: leisure activity
Wednesday: trial fitting
Thursday: leisure time activity
Friday: fitting of the final dental replacement, departure
Saturday: check-up, departure

Combined dental restorations (e.g.: combination of crowns, bridges and partial dentures) 10 – 14 days stay:

Sunday evening: arrival, check-in
Monday: consultation, examination, preparation of the teeth (chiseling)
Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday: leisure activities
Friday: trial fitting
Saturday, Sunday, Monday and Tuesday: leisure activities
Wednesday: trial fitting
Thursday: leisure activities
Friday: fitting of the final dental replacement
Saturday: check-up, departure

Useful information:

• We can begin individual dental treatments on other days also. Our dental technician laboratory is closed on holidays and weekends.
• Upon request, dental restorations can be prepared in a shorter time. In this case, however, you must count on an additional surcharge of 10-20 %.
• Tooth extractions and root canal treatments etc. can affect and extend the treatment time.
