REMOVABLE DENTURE

One speaks of removable dentures when the replacement is fixed to permanent teeth. Removable dentures may consist of a partial or full denture. For a toothless mouth, a removable full denture is made. The suction, which is due to the anatomical conditions of the upper jaw, plays an important role in the fixation of removable dentures. In the case of the lower jaw, the fixation is a bit more difficult because of the unfavorable anatomical conditions. The removal of such dentures and re-insertion cause the patient no problems.
